Jack-O-Lanterns!
Halloween is so awesome. SIGH. I miss the candy collection … last year we waited too long to buy a pumpkin and for some reason most stores were all out of them. To replace it we used a fibre-optic green pumpkin (LAME-O). That’s not the case this year … unfortunately, my pumpkin carving skills have severely declined so the pumpkins do not look too great … Ahah.
STILL. Pumpkin carving is so great! And what’s just as great: roasting and eating their precious seeds. Yaaay.

i haven’t carved a pumpkin in like 4 years… and not cuz of lack of pumpkin.. but lack of want to do it.. *sigh*.. i think the child inside of me has died

YOU KNOW WHAT I LEARNED TODAY? Pumpkin seeds are like sunflower seeds, in that there’s a seed within a shell. GASP. I never knew that. Not that it matters … I have no issue eating the tasty shell.

we were really lame this year.. we didn’t even give out candy!
… last year we had 2 kids comes to the door…. this year mom didn’t even buy the candy!….
so yeah… whatever. hah
