THIS WEEK SUCKS.
but one bright side to it is that the euro cup started on saturday and so for i am quite happy with the results! today holland totally owned italy 3-0 and it was amazing! gotta love those dutch!
in other news.. i was sent home early today because i am too sick to work! lets hope im better by tomorrow cuz i work then too… = \
BAH it is only just freekin 30+ degrees outside and what the heck to i get? only just a cold! bah! seems so ironic and impossible and yet i have a cold! either that or really weirdo allergies!
also: my mom picked yesterday to have a family clean up..good god. what a psycho woman. our ac had NOT kicked in yet and it was boiling hot and warmer in our house than outside. my brother also threw a load of clothes at me that had just come out of the dryer so i was very annoyed and frustrated and ran away screaming with various laundry garments falling from me.
i thought it was rather fitting to call it “a warm” actually.. as nick so cleverly suggested. since its so hot outside, better to say “i have a warm!” then to say “i have a cold”
i know its not really all that weather related but…meeh whatever fuck you weaather. i hope we have a storm today! that’d be sweeet.
i had yet another dream about posting on bloog so i figured i should post again. weird eh. like my dreams are trying to keep me in place now.
bah i have to catch a bus at 6:30 or i’ll be late for work.

OMGGGGGGG. So we launched this website today and it has been super-stressful at work because of it. And oooomgggggggat the end of the day I had two beers, took an obscenely long time to get home (bad busing) and then once I got home basically just went to my room and passed out. HAH. So bad. So bad.
Maybe it was the combination of beer + heat + long week + hours worth of busing and waiting for buses, but I was completely spent after I walked inside. I DUNNO. Anyway, you can see my only really visible contribution (an interactive map) to the site at http://www.codecan.org/en/where-we-work. I was told that the map worked in Tanzania on a dialup connection, so that’s outrageously cool. Particularly since it was NOT designed for slow connections at all (I don’t even have preloaders x_x).
Shit. I just found a bug. Nooo NOOO!!Okay. No. Still works fine. Yes. Yes. Good. God damn it.
I absolutely despise ironing, but am I the only one who gets a strange sense of satisfaction while ironing a striped shirt and seeing the smoothed-out lines of the shirt on the ironing board? Er. Maybe it’s just me. Ironing still sucks… but I guess it’s better than looking like a rolled up garbage bag. I guess.

Oh lordy. I took gum from the cab driver last night. It was cinammon-tasting energy gum or something. *shakes head*. Also: Nick put it best, Scotch is like ‘paint thinner’. No more Scotch.
