I’m so happy to have a week off! WOOOOO.

Damn it all! I left work two and a half hours early and came home with basically nothing! BLEEEH. I really must start thinking about this holiday more than one week in advance.  

Oh, and has anyone seen the weather network lately? 8 degrees and rain this weekend? … next Monday is going to be slippery, assuming we don’t drown before then. However, I’LL IN 100% HOLIDAY MODE (I’ve been working this week, which is slightly non-holiday-erific). WOOHOO. This weather is ass, by the way; I almost wish I had snowshoes for when I walk my dog now.

Also: my boss is sending me a way to work for a company which works closely with the one I work at now, in this upcoming year. They focus primarily on programming dynamic websites and what-not … so it will be quite the change from my mostly design — but somewhat codey — existence. A stipulation of this little “trade” was that I had to return to Wavertree (where I’m working now) in May. Ahaha.

I was totally surprised to see this, but even though it hasn’t been a full day since the election — Dalton’s already on the job. Haha. Giving his lovely Ontario residents a new statutory holiday on the 3rd monday of every February. It’s called “Family Day”.

HAH. Nice. Gaining a holiday is kind of weird, eh?
